If you’ve got a gas leak, remember not to panic. Next step, open all the doors and windows to promote airflow. Then, find the source of the gas leak and, if possible, turn it off – whether it’s the gas line or gas appliance. After that, contact an emergency gas fitter to come out and fix the issue. Please ensure you do not light any matches, candles or flammable devices until the gas leak is fixed and the gas particles have dissipated. 

There are a few signs that indicate a leak in your property. The most obvious is a constant drip of water coming from the ceiling. A leaking roof will also cause wet patches to appear on your ceilings and/or walls, typically in the shape of a puddle. If you suspect there’s a leak but can’t fix it, call a professional plumber. They will have the necessary leak detection  equipment and tools to locate the leak and fix it.
